Join in with others on a scheduled on-line class to sharpen all your Teams meeting skills. It just makes sense when learning a product like Teams, that you can try things straight away with other people, and feel what it’s like while actually in a Teams meeting.
Everyone will have access to the on-demand lessons as well, so if there’s any skills we choose not to cover in the course, or skills you need to sharpen up on later, it will be there.

Overview: This course is all about Teams meetings. There are two main sections in this course (that have been lifted straight out of the Working Together course).
- Teams Meetings as an Attendee – This first section starts off from the perspective of simply attending a meeting – you are just along for the ride; you are not running the meeting. Honestly, you shouldn’t have to sit on a course to attend it, but I believe that you are here because you want to excel at being part of a virtual meeting, rather than just winging it and crossing your fingers.
We make sure you are comfortable over where to find everything on your screen, and how to see things easily, like Chat and other attendees, while you are in a meeting. We are making sure you’ve mastered the art of a meeting – your background, your camera angle, lighting, your microphone, speakers. We talk about the different devices that you can be part of a Teams meeting on, as well as stepping you through transferring from a meeting on your computer to a handheld device and then to your car and back – like a pro! - Running a Meeting – In this second section, we progress to running the meeting. How do you make all of that magic happen so it looks effortless? (The secret is all in practice!) It’s not that difficult to invite people and run a Teams meeting, but let’s be more aware of the tools at your fingertips so you can actually change up your virtual meetings and make them so much more effective.
